Top 10 Funny Movies Hollywood

There are new movies coming out every day it seems and there are certainly a lot being released in 2014. If you want something to laugh out loud over, perhaps you should consider watching one of the top 10 best funny movies in 2014. Some have already been released in the movie theaters and others are still up and coming. Either way, they should all give you a little something to laugh about while proving that your life is not as crazy as it could be.

1. Neighbors

May 9, 2014 was the release date for this hilarious comedy about something we all have to deal with, “Neighbors”. Imagine having the perfect neighbors, who are in bed early, in general share your same “ideas”. This comedy is far from that. In fact, it is about neighbors that are total opposites because a family with an infant ends up living next to nothing short of a frat house. The family puts in a good effort but before long is war in the neighborhood. It is a movie that shows the conflicts between generations and family guys versus single men.

Everyone needs a good laugh sometimes and these movies are sure to give you a least a little bit of laughs. There are many other comedies coming out that did not make the list this time, however, the top 10 best funny movies in 2014 should give you an idea of what is available to watch right now. Whether you want stupid funny or hidden humor and silly antidotes, there should be something for you to enjoy this year. It will all have you chuckling and certain that life really isn’t so bad after all.



2. Sex Tape

Who hasn’t wanted to spice up their bedroom a little at some point? That is the premise behind this movie which is releasing July 2, 2014. A suburban couple chooses to spice it up by creating a Sex Tape, which then accidently gets synced to a few iPads which they had given as gifts to everyone from her mom to their postman. This leads to a lot of laughs when they try to recover before it is seen by those other people considering that neither of them can afford the, um, exposure.



3. 22 Jump Street

The release date for this movie is June 13, 2014. It is a comedy that is the sequel to “21 Jump Street”. However, in “22 Jump Street” the officers are back and on a college campus to crack the case of a crime ring within a fraternity. Not only do the officers start to question their partnership but they must also survive college life as freshmen.



4. Night At The Museum 3

December 25, 2014 is the release date for the third Night At The Museum. Ben Stiller returns as the security guard however, this time it is set in London. It is also bringing back Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt, Larry’s boss played by Ricky Gervais, and the new man on the block Sir Lancelot who is played by Dan Stevens and the main problem of this movie.




5. The Other Woman

On April 25, 2014 The Other Woman was released. This movie has Cameron Diaz and many others in it. She discovers that her boyfriend is married and while attempting to get over it, meets his wife. They share a lot of the same common interests and oddly enough, Cameron’s enemy becomes her friend. Then they discover a third woman and they all team up to plot their revenge on the cheater.



6. A Haunted House 2

This movie was released in theaters on March 28, 2014 and picks up where the first movie ended. It stars Marlon Wayans whose character, Malcom has a difficult time when, after moving in with his new lady friend and her two kids, they begin to experience more paranormal activities. It is not your normal haunting though when you add in that his ex-girlfriend, who was killed in a car accident, moves in across the street and she is very angry.



7. A Million Ways to Die in the West

On May 30, 2014 people began laughing over A Million Ways to Die in the West, a comedy with Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron. It is set in 1890 and the plot is about a man who is very cowardly. He loses his woman friend after he withdrew from a duel. Charlize comes to his aid and teaches him to be a little manlier and how to shoot. They fall in love and all is good; until her criminal rides back into town and he is in a very rotten mood.




8. Welcome to the Jungle

On February 7, 2014, “Welcome to the Jungle” was released. It is a humorous comedy about a man named Chris who has difficulty standing up to people and of course, asking the woman that he has a crush on out on a date. That is, until he and a group of co-workers, as well as the lady he desires, end up stranded on an island with a dead pilot and a tour guide that is killed by a tiger. Chris takes charge and it is quite funny when he does.



9. Tammy

Imagine having a day where you total your crappy car, get fired from your job at a burger joint, and catch your husband cheating on you. That was the day that Tammy was going through, so, she decides to get away from it all. However, the only person with a ride, money and a desire to run, is her grandma. Not an ideal situation, but in a pinch anything will do, and it is a very interesting ride. Release day is July 2, 2014.



10. They Came Together


June 27, 2014 is the release date for They Came Together. It is a mismatched hookup between two people who hate each other on first sight, but fall in love against the odds. After all, he is trying to shut down her shop. They break up mid way through the movie and she begins dating someone else that does not impress her as , until the end of the movie when magic happens. The premise has been done before, but perhaps it will be a new twist on an old idea.
