Event 10th Mobile Games Forum in London

Event: 10th Mobile Games Forum in London

The most important mobile games event on this side of the Atlantic is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year in London on the 23rd and 24th of January. The Mobile Games Forum (MGF) has consolidated its position as the place to be for leaders of big and small studios, keeping the show small enough so connections happen. A perfect occasion to network and meet potential partners.

Speakers include key iOS players such as EA, Chillingo, Disney, Glu, NaturalMotion, Fishlabs and Rovio and mobile services like GREE, Tapjoy or Flurry. You can see the full list here. I'm looking forward to the sessions about monetisation, free to play, cross-platform efforts as well as what they have to say about crowdfunding experiments. It will be interesting to see if any of those Kickstarters actually deliver. I'm sure these will be very valuable to understand where the industry is going and the trends for 2013.

This edition is adding the Social Games & Virtual Goods Forum as well as a half day workshop on Social Gambling. And not to be missed is the networking party on Wednesday behind St. Katharine Docks, near Tower Hill. Are you going to miss it?
