Since the debut album Gugian da Jorra in 1993, Jaswinder Singh Bains, aka Jazzy B, has become one of the most important names in the Punjabi music world of modern times.

The man has acquired the tags of – the Original Folksta ,the Canadian Sensation and the Crown Prince of Bhangra as he continues his revival of Bhangra in a big way together with wooing audiences across the globe. With releases of massive hit albums such as Oh Kedi , Tera Roop and more just goes to show this megastar packs an enormous tidal wave of a punch.

Born in Punjab India, raised in Vancouver Canada he now flirts and and lives a jet set lifestyle between those countries and many more whilst keeping his base in the heart of Birmingham UK. In 2013 he made his debut as an actor in the super-hit Punjabi Film titled Best of Luck with Punjabi Singer and Actor Gippy Grewal and Miss India Universe 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi. The shooting of this film commenced in Vancouver, Canada in May 2012. In 2014, he is coming in another Punjabi film called, Romeo Ranjha earlier titled Rambo Ranjha. Due to copyrights issues, the movies named got changed.  In a news story published in April, it was revealed that while doing stunts for Romeo Ranjha, Jazzy B underwent serious injuries wherein he even had 'near-death' experience. He was quoted saying,"I literally left my body. I could feel everyone trying to resuscitate me. I remember my whole life flashing before my eyes, and surprisingly, I wasn’t thinking about winning awards or anything like that. The only thing I cared about was that I wanted to live because I did not want to leave my family so soon
