Shraddha Kapoor was born on 3rd March 1989 in Mumbai, India. The hazel eyed beauty is the second child of Shakti Kapoor and Shivagi Kapoor. Her elder brother is Siddhanth Kapoor. She did her schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School, then enrolled to Boston University.
During her freshman year, she was spotted on facebook by Ambika (producer). Then, she was offered to do some auditions for the movie Teen Patti. after several auditions, finally she got her first role in the movie alongside Amitabh Bachchan, R Madhavan, and Raima Sen. before the shooting began, Shraddha took and acting class and workshop in Barry John Action Studio for a couple of months.
She decided to pursue her childhood dream to be an actor like her farther and aunt Padmini Kolhapure. besides them, a few names such as Guru Dutt, Aamir Khan and Aishwarya Rai are truly being inspiration for her. Furthermore, she got singing talent from her maternal side. Her favorite quote is 'Reach for the stars..but with your toes on the ground'.
