Most Common Lies In Online Dating And Chatting

Alright, you have started chatting online and looking for friends, dating partner, but are you sure the other person is saying all the right things. Fine, you may be fooled, and for keeping your eyes open, check the things that most men and women lie about while dating online.

Their age: There are cases when men have dated women twice their age. Someone who says that they are 22 may turn out to be 55, as well. So better be prepared. Don’t be blind in your date, but is lying ok? Some regular daters claim that getting dates is tough when you are over 35 because online dating is often treated as the cool thing for the young. But whether you lie or not, this is what you must keep in mind.
Their pictures: Stunning as it may seem but online dating sites have people who might give you pictures of a model, while they might be in their 40s. What is more shocking is many people online give pictures of their golden young days. What about a case when a person looked worth a million online and you meet the person to know the pictures given to you were photo-shopped? Scary!
Their profession: Honestly, lying about your professional is harmless, but to what extent can you lie? Don’t believe someone who says that are PR agent to Salman Khan or says he owns a MNC. Simply because, such busy people don’t have time to check men and women in online chat rooms. Unless you plan to get serious, this is a lie not to bother much about.
Their past: “You the first guy I am chatting with”. Too cheesy! Yes, when a man or woman says something like that to you, remember they might be saying the same to ten others in the same chat room. Also, if you think you are lying and cannot be caught, remember the people out there may be much smarter than you. The golden rule: don’t say anything about your dating history, unless you are poked enough!
Next time you start a new chat window and start giving facts about yourself, make sure you keep these lies in mind!

How to spot liars in online dating?

Let us all admit it honestly that we are not always true to our chat friends, at least not to those who we meet for the first time. While you are lying about something, are you sure you can spot when the other person is lying? Studies reveal men and women lie equally online, so it has nothing to do with the gender.

Many people fall prey to the incessant lies by their chat friend. Are you dating a liar? Know it before it is too late.
If you have believed the facts told by your chat friend, know these small tricks to spot the liar.
I am cuddly: If this is what you are told, remember that he or she is on the plus side. Lies about weight are more common in women, but men do lie about the same, as well. When someone puts a lean profile picture and has this to say to you, you can just know something is missing there.
I am rich: “Rich? Go get a job dude”, yes, this is something you should be telling the other person. Honestly, people who actually have all the money will never say the same to the chat friend, and for people who have ample money to find a date elsewhere, what the heck will they do in the chat rooms? Get this simple fact in mind and avoid lying about your finances.
I am a supermodel: Really? Unless you see at least a dozen of pictures of the person and have checked that those are not lifted from some modelling website, don’t believe in their words. You must understand that, men or women, supermodels don’t need to actually look for a date online, and even when they do, they will never say the same. After all, looking for love is all that matters for even supermodels.
My partner has broken up with me: Well, telling tales of breakup to gain sympathies is something that is not new. Men and women do it in equal measure. He or she might never have a boyfriend or girlfriend, or the stories that you believed to be true are extremely false. Love or not, don’t believe in the words that tell you sob stories without any reason.
Lying is not ethically wrong in dating sites, knowing there are problematic people out there. But when you are honest with someone, make sure that you are not being lied to. Love and friendship can only come from truth and only truth.
